About the Event

The Designers by the Bay began in 1996, as an event to showcase some of the fine local talent of various fine jewelry designers in the Greater Bay Area. Each year over 20 designers present their latest creations during an elegant evening of food, wine and mingling. Playing host to the event is Shreve & Co, the historic San Francisco jewelry company with their elegant store at 200 Post Street, in San Francisco.

Over the years, the event has continued to grow and expand with new designers and fine jewelry companies from all over the Greater Bay Area. With an annual attendance of over 200 people, the Designers by the Bay and Fine Jewelry Showcase has become the premier fine jewelry event in all of Northern California.
